At the end of 2020, there were 228,532 foreigners registered in Prague. Thus, Prague represented by a large margin the region with the highest number of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The type of the largest number of foreigners was recorded in Stedoeskm county, and up to 90 095, at least then in Vysočina region (12,891) a Zln region (11,678). Thus, in terms of the percentage of foreigners in the population, Prague is the first city among the regions, foreigners make up 17.1% of the total population. It’s in the second town Karlovy Vary Region, where foreigners represent 7.5% of the population and the tetm region Pilsen with 7.1%. The number of foreigners in Prague and the country of origin
The number of foreigners in Prague has been constantly increasing since 2004 (with the exception of 2012 and 2013, when the mezzanine decreased by 1,709 persons) practically subnumbering the number of foreigners in R. In 2004 there were 77,922 foreigners in Prague, in 2010 and in 2019 their number increased to 210,483. Thus, between 2019 and 2020, there was an increase in the number of foreigners, by 18,049, ie by 8.6%, even with limited mobility associated with COVID 19 pandas.

At the same time, 228,532 foreigners represent 36% of all foreigners registered in the Czech Republic. In Prague, more than a third of foreigners residing in the Czech Republic. This is a stable share of the foreign population, in 2010 35% of all foreigners in Prague lived in R. In 2004, it was 30.6%, indicating that the number of foreigners registered in Prague has been increasing for a long time. One of the main reasons for the attractiveness of Prague (and capital cities in general) for foreigners is the fact that Prague is attractive due to the size and diversity of its labor market for both highly qualified foreigners and foreigners with work qualifications.
There were 103,487 en-foreigners in Prague in 2020. Women thus made up 45.3% of the foreign population in Prague. According to the gradual increase, in 2004 it accounted for 40%, in 2010 it was 43.8%. The main motivation of foreigners to move to Prague are working reasons and therefore they are among them. The population of foreigners is more balanced in terms of both sexes, so it is more important that foreigners settle in the Czech Republic, ie also in Prague.
As for the origin of foreigners, 73,853 of them come from European Union countries and 154,679 from other countries. EU citizens thus made up 32.3% of all foreigners in Prague, citizens of other countries 67.7%. The share of foreigners from EU countries in the total number of foreigners is gradually increasing in the long run, in 2004 (ie in the year of our accession to the EU) it was 27.6%, in 2010 only 23.2%, but in 2020 that was a changed 32.3% of foreigners from EU countries. Although Bulgaria and Romania became EU members in 2007, and Croatia in 2013, it seems that this fact was not more pronounced on the share of foreigners from EU countries. Compared to the whole Czech Republic, according to foreigners from EU countries in Prague it is lower, in the Czech Republic it accounted for 38.6% and according to foreigners from countries outside the EU 61.4%.
From the point of view of sttn oblunosti have in Hl. Ukrainians, who accounted for more than one quarter of all foreigners (26.0%), Slovakia (15.2%), Russia (11.5%), Vietnam (6.1%). The table does not show the 11 most represented countries among foreigners living in Prague.

Taking a detailed look at the division of foreigners registered in Prague, in individual cities, we find that most foreigners are registered in Prague 4 (20,094), Prague 5 (18,262) and Prague 10 (18,018). Most foreigners are thus registered in the most populated city streets, which results from their size. It will be more interesting to see how your foreigners claim from the total sweat of the population in the individual city districts. From these data we find that all 57 Prague cities are the largest under the city of Prague Nebuice, where foreigners make up 33.2% of the population (out of a total of 3,360 inhabitants). In the second city in this category is the central city of Prague 2, where foreigners make up 26.1% of the population (out of a total of 50,901 inhabitants) and in the second Prague Doln Mcholupy with a share of foreigners 25.9% (out of 3,658 inhabitants)

Age of foreign elephants registered in Prague
When we look at the age of foreigners registered in Prague, we find that the most represented are people of working age (ie 1564 years), which are a total of 193,087 and thus 84.5% of the total number of foreigners. It is significantly more than it is represented in this category in the total population of Prague, where 65% of the population falls into this category. On the contrary, the representation of foreigners in the unproductive age, ie 0-14 years (10.5%), and 65 years and more (5%), is not among the total population of Prague, as the graph shows no.
