New flats will be found in apartment buildings this year in Prague and other houses, elsewhere in family houses
The lack of building plots and their high price are due to the fact that in the capital city of new apartments in the framework of all residential houses. In other regions, the construction of family houses prevails. Only one lettuce is an exception South Bohemian Region, where the Czech Statistical Office (S) for the first half of this year records more new dwellings in apartment buildings. This difference between Prague and other regions is understandable. Building plots are more expensive in the capital than elsewhere, and the purchase price for an apartment building with more apartments is better than many buyers. Thus, the valid land full of the capital prefers in a residential construction over the individual construction of houses with apartment units.
Construction companies According to the Czech Statistical Council (S), they started to build a total of 2578 new flats in Prague during the first half of this year, of which 2348 were flats. The largest number of new flats built in family houses is recorded this year in S v Moravian-Silesian Region, where 1070 new flats will start in family houses or 134 flat will be started in apartment houses. The mismatch is so in steckm kraje (521 started dwellings in family houses compared to 73 dwellings in apartment houses) a Karlovy Vary Region (248 started dwellings in family houses compared to 28 dwellings in apartment houses).
From the regional trend, in addition to Jihoeskho kraje slip in just Liberec region, where the ratio between family and apartment houses is basically balanced. Here, your statistics are mainly influenced by the current construction of several mountain apartment complexes.
The construction of apartment buildings will always be dominant in Prague due to the lack of vacant building space and the preference for large-scale construction. On the contrary, in smaller towns and villages, people will always prefer to build their own family house. Cheaper land is available for this, despite the fact that they also cover the general land.
