The pirates of Prague 4 must not expel the representative due to the blockade of metro D, she will not give up
“The club called on her to end her activities related to the preparation for the construction of the metro,” said Jan Hora, a representative of the pirate club. Jelínková did not intend to meet the condition, according to her, she defends the interests of the local residents who elected her. In addition, according to her, there is no list of commitments according to which she should act as a representative.
The metro D project obtained an invalid building permit for the main building and construction site equipment. Not only the mentioned company, but also a part of the inhabitants of Pankrác will appeal against the permit. The start of construction may be delayed. In the first phase, Metro D will connect Pankrác with Písnice.
“The activities in which Marie Jelínková participates will not only delay the construction of metro D and increase its costs, but are also not in the interests of local residents, as it will make it impossible to reach agreements on the method of construction at Olbrachtova metro station. inhabitants, “said Hora.
The municipal specialized building authority issued an invalid building permit for the main building, ie for the construction of five stations with tunnels, and for the construction site equipment on 30 June. On July 11, the association sent the municipality a so-called blanket appeal against both decisions, in which specific reasons will only be entered.
“The conditions for which the club could exclude me are not met. I read the categorical and dictatorial e-mail and I replied to it, let them do so, because I will defend the rights of the people who elected me, “said Jelínková. According to her, as an elected representative, she cannot be determined by what she can or cannot think and do as a citizen. According to Jelínková, she defends the rights of the inhabitants, when for some of them the length of construction due to their age should mean complications for the rest of their lives.
Mayor Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates), on the other hand, criticized the deputy for not adhering to the pre-election program, which he, as an independent candidate, undertook to adhere to in the coalition agreement concluded between Pirates and independent candidates. “If we had better anticipated her intention and intentions in this area, I assume that the Pirates would limit themselves to this common candidate against her agreement,” Hřib told ČTK today.
The Pankrác Society has appealed against the construction several times in the past. For example, they have long been bothered by the construction of pilot walls near the future Olbrachtova station, the size of the construction site or the felling of mature greenery. Last week, Deputy Mayor Adam Scheinherr (Prague Sobě) told ČTK that in all its objections, the city is trying to meet the needs of its residents. According to him, the construction site will be a third of the original plan and will not be in front of the house. From the original plan to cut down about a hundred of the 109 trees, the city retreated to the most necessary felling of 33 trees. Today, Jelínková repeated to ČTK that she did not trust the city and the deputy.
Pirate deputies gave Jelínková a deadline of 31 July to reconsider her positions and practices. “If she does not do so, she will be expelled from the club on August 1. An agreement with the locals is still possible, but give us time. I would be very sorry if the delaying tactics eventually led to both a more expensive project and the construction of the station according to the original plan. Everyone would lose, the locals and the capital, and yet completely unnecessarily, “added Hora.
The difficulties have accompanied the construction of metro D for a long time. The last time the Ministry of Transport canceled the objections of the municipality’s bias submitted by the Pankrác Society in June this year. At the same time, the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) decided that Dopravní podnik hl. The City of Prague (DPP) may enter into a contract with the winner of the tender for the construction of the first part of the metro. This blocked a preliminary injunction issued against an objection from one of the construction companies. The municipality had problems for many years, we will also see land, especially in Krč. Here he finally agreed with the owners.
In the first phase, a metro will be built between Pankrác and Nové Dvůr and then continue to the Písnice Depot. The section from Pankrác to náměstí Míru must be built in. Where the metro from Náměstí Míru will lead, it has not yet been decided. One of the options was Republic Square, according to the other, the route should go to Žižkov and further to Vysočany. According to this year’s update, the total estimated price is 97.79 billion crowns and the investor is DPP.
