The Ústí nad Labem went on an Olympic race. On a scooter from Paris to Prague!
Miroslav Oros wants to ride more than 1,600 stages in fifteen stages from July 23 to August 8. The route should lead from Paris to Brussels, then through Luxembourg and practically all of Germany to Dresden and from there to Prague.
It will cover an average of more than a hundred kilometers every day, which will take eight to ten hours, depending on the profile of the track and the weather.
“I had two big work events planned for the holidays. However, they were eventually canceled at the last minute, so I decided to fill the free time with something else, “describes the origin of the idea Miroslav Oros.
Why from Paris? “While driving, I want to watch the Tokyo Olympics over the internet. I start on the day of its beginning and I should reach the finish line on the day of its end. Thanks to Pierre de Coubertin, I have the Olympic idea connected with France, and France will also hold the Olympics in 2024, “the result of the Ústí nad Labem region.
Miroslav Oros will drive at all times with the support of an accompanying vehicle.
“My little friend and collaborator Tomáš Čapek, who, in addition to my support, also takes care of shooting and editing videos, will run the small apartment building. He will also be accompanied by the photographer Vladimír Cettl in Brussels, “introduces his accompanying team Miroslav Oros.
The performance is presented with the slogan Go Mira Go! and it also has a strong charitable subtext. Miroslav Oros goes with the logo of the collection Help the children on the jersey.
Together with Chicken, he wants to raise money for disadvantaged children.
“I am glad that we have just agreed with the Civil Society Support Foundation, which is organizing the Help the Children collection. Going with a main goal motivates me and it will give me strength on the road. “
