Jaroš worked for years in the Prague CSSD, he was deputy mayor and was interested in high contributions in state enterprises or state administration. In April this year, he was temporarily appointed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the head of the Social Democracy, Jan Hamáček, to the post of political deputy, and he remains in office under the current head of diplomacy, Jakub Kulhánek.
He is in his responsibility according to the ministry especially the internal operation of the diplomatic service and the area of economic diplomacy. Nevertheless, Jaroš already worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the past as Secretary General, and with his predecessor in this position, Karel Srba, he was then indicted in the case of a dubious reconstruction of Czech embassies. The court eventually acquitted both charges due to lack of evidence.

Jaroš had to disclose what property he is now coming to the service of diplomacy in his initial property declaration. Nevertheless, they had to reveal their property relations in the past, when from 2014 to 2018 he was the Deputy Mayor of Prague 13. Deník N requested both property declarations on the basis of the Information Act.
