hunter talk to hunter, this is theater. This is not a substitute for youtube or a podcast, said translator Martin Hilsk, who traditionally took the lead word of the Summer Shakespeare Festival. Hilsk is best known as a translator of Shakespeare’s work and an expert on the life of a famous playwright. In 2001, he was named a member of the British imprint for his services in Czech literature in Czech. Boue is the last great play by William Shakespeare and is honored for his most personal appeal. They contain all the basic darkness of his plays and the character of Prosper is perceived as an incarnation of a playwright. Dust in his role distantly follows the character of Oberon, he was hardened in the Dream of Midsummer Night. I have a lot of Shakespearean characters behind me: Jaga, Coriolano, Macbeth, King Lear and Hamlet. Most of them land, but Prospero does not. Take him as such an optimistic figure, he noted.
Zdenk Pikula introduced himself as the son of the Neapolitan king Ferdinand in a production full of love, flesh and disgust. I wanted Ferdinand, for example, not to be a first-rate hero, but a bit of an ouma, burdened by the fact that he was born into a royal family and grew up in a tight court environment. Well, get to know the island on the island without weapons and prejudice, he said.
On August 13th and 14th, the Slovak production of the greatest love tragedy of all time, Romeo and Jlia, will take place in Prague, starring David Hartl and Mria Schumerov. The program of the celebration does not have to miss Hamlet, Zimn pohdka, Vesel panic windsorsk, Tamed the Wicked or Much ado about nothing. He will give the Prague premiere on July 29, the comedy The Midsummer Night’s Dream by the Prague Shakespeare Company, directed by Guy Roberts, in its original version with Czech subtitles.
