A Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft arrived from Split on Saturday, and the company will also deploy an Airbus A319 along the way.
On Saturday, the Croatian airline Croatia Airlines launched its first flight on a new seasonal route between Split and Prague. The Bombardier Dash 8 with registration 9A-CQA arrived on the inaugural flight from Split, and was welcomed at the Václav Havel Airport by the water gate.
The carrier will offer a new direct connection between the two cities every Saturday until mid-September this year. The airline will also use the Airbus A319 on the route. Return tickets from 3540 crowns can be purchased on the carrier’s website, which should be the introductory price including airport tax and checked baggage (max. 23 kg).
“Thanks to the introduction of direct international flights between Prague and Split, tourists from the Czech Republic will gain an even better mode of transport to the Croatian part of the Mediterranean, and thus access to Croatia’s natural, cultural and historical heritage.” said Croatia Airlines Sales Director Slaven Žabo.
From June to August this year, Croatia Airlines will fly from Croatia to 18 European cities to a total of 19 airports.
