Velká Chrchle or Virohrady. Prague is betting on a joke in a new vaccination campaign for young people
Vaccination of younger people against covid-19, Prague wants to support a new campaign that shows how the pandemic changed the shape of the city. Among younger people, there is less interest in vaccination, yet their interest in vaccination for the success of the fight against coronavirus is an effect, said Health Councilor Milena Johnová (Prague herself). Prague received the visual form of the posters free of charge.
“With this campaign, we want to support the interest in vaccinations again. We focus mainly on younger grades, because we know that there is still room for how many people could be helped (to be vaccinated) and vaccinated. The health impacts on younger students are smaller, but it is certainly not advisable to underestimate them, “said the mayor of the capital Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates). He warned of the possible long-term consequences of covid-19, even for younger people who have suffered from the disease.
Posters with playful texts such as “Stonůlky – City district transformed by a pandemic”, “Chorloj – A monument that lost tourists due to the pandemic” or “Velká Chrchle – A place where coughing more than racing” and are already visible in strong colors on urban furniture surfaces and on digital surfaces. It also seems to appear in online media and on social networks. It is planned to place the campaign on the screen in hospital buildings in the capital.

In total, the cost of the campaign should not exceed 300,000 crowns, because the billboards of the capital and its contributory organizations will be used.
The DDB Prague agency launched a campaign for the capital to support coronavirus vaccination in February. The visuals worked with motifs of family, business and education, which were to refer to a return to normal life before the pandemic.
The councilor wants to provide exact quarantine addresses
The city also operates a vaccination center in the Congress Center, where, according to Hřib, more than 2,000 people are now vaccinated daily, and has prepared an ICT web operator through its company. ockovani.praha.eu. According to the previous mayor’s statement, he offers people this information for vaccination, on the basis of which they are free, but they inform me if they can be vaccinated. On the web, you can find, for example, a map of vaccination centers, the number of people vaccinated in Prague, as well as information videos and a section in which professional guarantors refute larger myths and misinformation associated with vaccination.
In connection with the threatening spread of a more contagious mutation of coronavirus called delta and the growing reproductive number in the capital, John criticized the form of quarantine and the form of forms for travelers to the Czech Republic. According to the councilor, the document should be modified to include the exact address for quarantine, not just the name of the city. According to John’s Gate, the current situation is carried out by tracing and inspection staff.
According to the councilors, it would also make work easier for hygiene if people coming to the Czech Republic from areas with a high incidence of covid-19 were identified in the Information System of Infectious Diseases (ISIN). The quarantine itself should be adjusted to be more friendly for people who have met a positive person but are not infected with covid. This would mean that people infected with covid would not be afraid to report their contacts, to guarantee.
The city also plans to vaccinate against covide-19 homeless people. According to Johnová, clients of shelters where they can arrange a mobile team from the Municipal Polyclinics are already being vaccinated. People who live on the streets and there are about a few hundred of them could be vaccinated with a single-dose safe Janssen. So far, however, according to councilors’ expectations on the statement of the Ministry of Health, whether Prague can be used for different age groups.
The fact that the vaccination of people living on the streets is not systematically addressed by the Ministry of Health was described by the Mayor of Prague as a “complete failure of the Ministry of Health”.
