EgyptAir has started flights to Prague, it is now flying on a route from Hurghada

Airline EgyptAir launched on Thursday, April 17 regular flights to Prague. Shortly before 4 pm, an Airbus A220-300 SU-GFF registration landed at Ruzyně Airport on a new route from Hurghada. Said Mohamed Elsaid Hindam, Ambassador of Egypt to the Czech Republic, Wael Soliman, District Manager EgyptAir, representatives of Prague Airport and EgyptAir’s sales office in Prague, opened the flights. For Prague Airport, this is a new major airline, which has been missing from the list of carriers flying to Prague in recent decades.

EgyptAir will be on the route between Prague and Hurghada narrate two spins a week. Departures from Prague will always be on Monday and Thursday at 17:00 with arrival in Hurghada at 21:15. The flight will depart from Hurghada on the same days at 11:30 and land at Prague Airport at 16:00. The Egyptian carrier operates the instructions in cooperation with the travel agency Čedok. EgyptAir offers return flights from Prague to Hurhada from 7750 crowns. Tickets can be booked on the EgyptAiru website and at selected travel agencies.

The line is serviced modern Airbus A220-300which flies in a configuration for 137 passengers. In addition to 122 economy class seats, there are also 15 comfort business class seats available on board. During the flight, passengers can connect from their mobile device to the on-board entertainment system offering audio and video. There is also an internet connection available on board via wi-fi, but this is a paid offer. Passengers have checked baggage up to 23 kilograms and free refreshments during the flight.

EgyptAir has flown to us in the past. At the end of 1960, it opened to Prague on a regular route from Cairo as United Arab Airlines (UAA). At that time, the airline deployed its new aircraft on the new connection, which was operated once a week with a stopover in Belgrade. Comet 4C. Later, the company began moving to Prague to operate without a stopover and from 1971 under its current name. In 1976, 45 years ago, EgyptAir terminated scheduled flights from Cairo to Prague.
