Trees will be added to the park
The park at the Mánes Bridge will undergo a significant transformation. The plan is to plant twenty-three trees there, which will dampen traffic and at the same time play the role of natural air conditioning. “There will be almost a forest there,” remarked the mayor of the city district Petr Hejma (STAN). The project is currently in the design phase, with the start of work expected to follow early next year. The current Klárov functions primarily as a transport hub of the Lesser Town.

Seniors are waiting by the river
The city district of Prague 1 organizes a traditional summer summer camp in nature in a cottage camp in Dobronice by the river Lužnice. The camp program includes games, competitions, sports activities, movement in lighter terrain and evening campfires. If the epidemiological situation allows, this year’s event will take place exceptionally from 12 to 19 September. The capacity of the camp is twenty-four participants. They pay only full board in the amount of 1750 crowns. Transportation, accommodation and a week-long program led by camp leaders are free for participants.
