Traveling and breathing? Everyone has public transport, the access at the stops is lukewarm
In general, it can be said that inside the cars, people have a protected mouth and nose, they are no longer so consistent at stops while waiting.
“You know that I try to keep it at the stop, but maybe so alternately yesterday, I was very bad at it,” said Mrs. Marie at the Anděl stop. “Today, as the sun doesn’t shine so much, it’s better,” take care, as she says of herself, “a cheerful pensioner.” In the capital near Anděl, yesterday morning, between 7.30 and 8.00, she was one of most people with her mouth covered while waiting for the tram. There were 30 percent of those who were relieved by the Respirator.
It was similar, for example, in Mladé Boleslav, where out of 40 people, seven passengers did not have a respirator. At the U Černého koně stop in Beroun, even everyone waiting had nose and mouth protection on. The mood of people and their attitude to wearing respirators on the streets and stops was probably most accurately captured by a young man at the Nymburk, náměstí stop.
“Last time I got out and went almost home in a veil, I completely forgot I had it. And I wondered why people looked at me so badly, “he said to his friend while waiting for the bus.
Some people still try to stand outside the shelter to make it look like they are not waiting at the bus stop. Everyone without a respirator puts on the mask only before getting on the bus.
In Prague without control
On the contrary, people inside public transport cars are more disciplined. In buses or trams, you can hardly find passengers without veils. In the metropolis, in tram number 7 between Anděl and Palackého náměstí and back, everyone protected their noses and mouths. In the same way in Mladá Boleslav, Nymburk, Beroun, Kolín or Benešov.
“Passengers are careful to wear protective equipment. In all this time, we had two cases where there was a problem. So there weren’t many of them and I’m very happy about that, “Marek Džuvarovský, director of the Mladá Boleslav Transport Company, told Deník.
Even in Nymburk, it is not possible to complain about passengers. The editor of Deník addressed two drivers of lines 433 and 493, and both confirmed that they had not yet met people on the bus who would not wear a veil or respirator, or would have to be reprimanded.
They praise their passengers in Cologne in the same way. “They are disciplined in our buses, they respect and adhere to the necessary anti-epidemic measures. If the passenger does not observe and, for example, does not have a respirator on his mouth, then according to the transport conditions, the driver is a person authorized by the carrier who has the right to evict such a passenger from the bus, “said Miroslav Slaný, spokesman for OAD Kolín.
Employees of Prague Public Transport do not check compliance with the wearing of respirators. “In order not to create a conflict situation in public transport,” explained spokeswoman Aneta Řehková. “Adherence to wearing respirators is fully within the competence of the city police,” he said.
