Prague – The government has decided to further open schools, shops, services, cultural institutions and other areas of life that have been closed for many months due to the coronavirus epidemic. After the weekend, pupils of the second grade and lower grades of multi-year grammar schools in seven regions will be able to return to primary schools, namely Hradec Králové, Plzeň, Karlovy Vary, Central Bohemia, Liberec, Pardubice and Prague. They will study at school for a week, from home at home. All children, not only preschoolers, can go to school in these regions, but also galleries and museums will open there. All stores and services will be able to open on May 10, regardless of the development of the epidemic, the government decided.
The original schools are to be opened during the day and the rotational teaching of older pupils should start in the same rest of the country. However, the Ministry of Health has exchanged a reservation to decide otherwise if the epidemic in any region still has a deal.
From Monday, school staff and primary school children will only be tested for covid-19 once a week, and second-graders will return twice after school. The impending shortage of tests in schools is currently due to address the 185,000 covid-19 test kits that the State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR) originally purchased to test officials. The administration again announced a contract for 5.6 million school tests on Wednesday. She had to cancel the last tender, as none of the four candidates met the conditions. Minister of Education Robert Plaga (for YES) told reporters that after the modification of the test scheme, the tests should be enough for schools until May 17, when the first part of the delivery from the new tender is to arrive. Mandatory testing in companies is to continue until the end of June.
The government also counts on the return of all university students to practical training; so far, practice is allowed only in medical or pharmaceutical fields and in recent years in other fields. High school students could participate in full-time teaching in the second half of May at the earliest.
The cabinet is to decide on Monday when and under what conditions children will be able to go to clubs and other leisure activities again. So far, only outdoor sports are allowed with restrictions.
The Interprofessional Epidemic Group (MeSES) said before the government’s decision that store opening should not precede another wave of disintegration in schools. Experts also warned against disintegration faster than promised inThese are based on the weekly proportion of new cases per 100,000 population, who are now 146 on a national scale. The first wave is calculated at a national weekly average of 100 per 100,000, followed by 75, 50 and 25 new cases. For some areas, such as schools or museums, galleries and monuments, the situation in the region has to decide.
The remaining services, such as crafts, will be dismantled and open to retail on May 10, according to six government packages. Join the second and third package, said Karel Havlíček (for YES) after the meeting of the government of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The fourth package will come on May 17, but only provided that the number of infected per week from the current 146 under 75 per 100,000 inhabitants. The cabinet discussed the opening of the restaurant gardens. “In the end, however, the opinion prevailed so that it would not deviate from the dismantling packages,” he added.
The return to normal life is to be helped primarily by vaccination. In the four months since the start of the covid vaccination, health professionals in the Czech Republic have administered over three million doses of the covid vaccine. So far, more than 980,000 people have been fully vaccinated in the country. According to statistics, the Czech Republic has per capitathe seventh number of the lowest vaccinated doses from the European Union.
The country is currently vaccinated with four vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency. The State Institute for Drug Control (SÚKL) has already tested the available documents on the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, but they were not enough to assess the vaccine.
The epidemic has been raging for several weeks, with the reproductive number below one. On Wednesday, 2,483 confirmed cases of covid-19 were added, compared to almost the same day last week, which was almost 16 percent less. For the first time since mid-October, there are less than 3,000 patients with coronavirus in hospitals. The reduction of the number of hospitalized to the limit of three thousand was previously mentioned by the government as the main parameter for the next new last, now it is governed mainly by the number of cases per population per week.
According to key words, experts and detecting new mutations that can be more contagious and deadly are needed to manage the epidemic. Hygienists in Prague recorded the first case of the so-called Indian coronavirus mutation, a human from India. He had fever, pain and headaches. Hygiene looks for potential risk contacts so that the mutation does not spread to other people. The suspicion of an Indian mutation has already appeared in the Czech Republic in Hradec Králové.
