You will go from Prague to Prčice in June this year and only with a smartphone
Last year, the popular Prague-Prčice march was completely canceled due to a coronavirus pandemic. This situation is not better than last year, this year the organizers intend to achieve the event. Of course, in compliance with the maximum anti-epidemic measures. “As was the case last year, this year we are limited by both covid and government measures,” the organizers said. They added that they were forced to make fundamental changes that affect the march in all areas.
This year only with a smartphone
To participate, you will need a smartphone with wifi and GPS. The organizers also recommend having at least 1 MB of data available. Registration will be electronic this year, as well as payment of the entry fee, which will be uniformly 50 crowns.
The legendary march has been taking place since 1966, when five hundred tourists set out to cover a distance of 100,000 Czech elbows, which corresponds to approximately 60 kilometers. Last year, over 26,000 tourists took part. Last year, the event was planned for May 16, but was eventually postponed for a year.
