An appeal against the zoning decision for the construction of a section of the Prague ring road between the D1 motorway and the Běchovice district of Prague will be resolved by the South Bohemian Region due to the possible bias of the Prague City Hall. The decision was made on 23 February by the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD). Notify the Zdopravy.cz server of the Office’s decision.
Prague could be according to MMR biased in resolving the appeal, because the city management signed a memorandum with the state stating that the construction of the said section of the circuit will support and prepare the construction will accelerate.
MMR in the justification for the decision according to the Zdopravy.cz server states that, according to the law, an appeal to a zoning decision should be entrusted to some of the neighboring administrative districts. But that’s the case Prague only the Central Bohemian Region, which is also signed under the mentioned memorandum. According to the Ministry, the same objections to possible bias apply to the Central Bohemian governor’s office as to the Prague City Hall.
The zoning decision for the construction of section of the Prague ring road number 511 between D1 and Běchovice was issued last July by the building authority of Prague 22. Against several dozen appeals from individuals, associations and local governments. According to the Ministry of Regional Development, there are also objections in the appellants concerning the systemic bias of the Prague City Hall.
Part of the circuit between the exit from the D1 at Modletice and the exit from the D11 at Běchovice is to include four level crossings and two tunnels. According to earlier information, the construction could start next year and be put into operation in 2025. The estimated price is almost 9.4 million crowns.
After completion, the outer Prague ring road should measure about 83 kilometers according to current plans, with a longer half still in operation so far. At present, in addition to section 511, the entire northern part from Ruzyně via Suchdol, Březiněves to Černý Most is also missing on the circuit.
