Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week invites its visitors to the FW21 spring season for the first time at the car cinema. MBPFW Drive-in Cinema is being created from 1 to 3 May in the parking area at Hall 25 in the Prague Market Square in Holešovice. The imaginary space of the fashion temple for the spring season of FW21 will become a car cinema for the first time in history. The parking space at Hall 25 in the Prague Market Square in Holešovice will be transformed into MBPFW Drivein Cinema from 1 to 3 May 2021. The new MBPFW Drive-in Cinema format will be a pleasant revival at a time when it is declining to significantly reduce cultural and social projects, which are being moved entirely online.
MBPFW Drive-in Cinema will present individual shows in specific time blocks from 1 to 3 May, these will be projected according to the program on two identical LED screens at this time. All Visitors will then have the opportunity to watch individual fashion shows on the MBPFW YouTube channel day by day with a slight time lag.
Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekwho will present the designers’ visions for the autumn / winter 2021 season, open on April 30, 2021 a performance by Jakub Polanka in cooperation with Priveé lounge and Harper’s Bazaar magazine in the newly renovated services of the Nobility Restaurant happening.
Fashion Week show shows a total of 44 designers, including two school studios, namely the Technical University in Liberec and Tomas Bata University in Zlín: Clothing Design Studio. The four finalists of the VAN GRAAF Junior Talent 2021 competition for young designers with the winner of the VAN GRAAF Junior Talent Card 2020, Marcel Petránek, will also present their collections in a joint block. The design duo LAFORMELA and also Tereza Rosalie Kladošová are returning to the stage. An absolute newcomer to the MBPFW scene will be mainly Slovak designer Petra Kubíková and the winner will also be the winner of the Mercedes-Benz Talent 2021 design competition from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. On the first day of the show, visitors will present their current work Zoltán Tóth in a unique way in the practice of the Prague Market in Holešovice, specifically in Hall 11.
