The Slavic epic did not belong to Prague, the court granted the affair of a small Mucha

Sugar Mizzy December 9, 2020

I had to rejoin the evaluated evidence. This was an offer from Alfons Mucha, which Prague accepted and decided to accept the gift, the epic. However, the donor’s contract was invalid, it was not concluded in the form of a notation, and justified the judgment of Judges Martina Tvrdkov.

Because it was not built, the donation conditions were not accepted and the deed remained the property of Alfons Mucha and after his death in 1939 Marie Muchov. The judge never said that, she said.

For my client, this means a lot of optimism. John Mucha commented on the verdict of Mucha’s first, František Vyskoil.

Mucha did not defend himself one day, but Vyskoil said after the verdict said that Malv Pbuzn wanted the paintings to stay in Prague. He wants the Slavic epic to remain in Prague, because his grandfather dedicated it to Prague, said the first.

For historical and economic reasons, Prague did not meet the condition to build an embassy, the first master Roman Felix admitted.

The judge complied with the allobi. We are in the mood of the court, at the judgment of the court of first instance. Urit can be revoked, said Roman Felix after his death.

The master thus has to pay the court costs. The Municipal Court in Prague will decide on the case at the second instance. If the Court of Appeal decides to confirm, the paintings will not automatically fall on John Mucha. According to his first-member Frantika Vyskoil, it will be necessary to reopen the mother-in-law, in which John Mucha and his half-sister Jarmila Mucha Plockov would be the final grandfathers.

Evidence from the archive

The court should grant the allegations in full, František Vyskoil, the first deputy of John Mucha, summed up one another. His opponent, on the other hand, explained that the capital city of Prague had gained epic days. it was about honest and genuine gossip. There is no doubt about that. We propose to dismiss the allegations, explained Roman Felix, a first-class master of Prague.

Vydrela, or acquired, Prague dn 20 rafts, made of Slavonic epic Alfons Mucha? That’s how the question sounded, she was looking for an answer to the chairwoman of the District Court for Prague 1 in the dispute between John Mucha and the capital, she has a cycle.

There was no question of anything, František Vyskoil summed up his opinion on this issue. The city’s lawyer, Roman Felix, argued that he had relied on, among other things, the 1850 patent.

It follows from this argument that Charles Crane, the American sword of Alfons Mucha, donated a unique work to the royal capital of Prague. Prague had the knowledge that there was a donation from Charles Crane, said Roman Felix.

The evidence had to be found in the archives. The court found, for example, a document on the insurance cycle from 1919 in Zbiroh. He gave documents about you and the questions of the local office in Moravsk Krumlov. The picture is about a foreign country, summarizes a document from the 50s.

Long first epic

John Mucha, a relative of the creators, claims that the ownership of the epic is that Prague never became its own image because it did not meet the author’s main condition. Thus, to build fully separate exhibition spaces.

John Mucha is asking the court to determine the ownership of the image on the date of the death of Mucha’s wife Marie, who was small. Therefore, according to the instructions of Judges Martina Tvrdkov, Prague must prove that it owned the paintings in good condition and that the gossip is honest and true.

If the court in the second instance, ie in the appellate woman, otherwise agrees, the bag will not automatically fall to John Mucha.

Then it would be necessary to reopen the daughter-in-law, in which John Mucha would appear as the final owner, and his half-sister, Jarmila Mucha Plockov.

Opponents disagree with his claims. I unequivocally propose the dismissal of the lawsuit, explained Roman Felix, representing the capital. In a dispute that has been taking place since 2017, the District Court for Prague 1 once ruled in his favor, and the appellate instance of the Municipal Court in Prague.

Then the Supreme Court R came into play, which overturned the verdict and sent the dispute back to the district court for a new woman and supplemented the evidence.

The first exhibition of the Slavic Epic took place in 1928 in Veletrný palce, and was later stored in the depository of the Capital City Gallery. m of Prague.

At the arrest of the 1960s, Moravsk Krumlov became its home, and in 2011 it was followed by transport back to Prague. This year, the transport to Moravský Krumlov took place in a specially adapted exhibition area of the local area. It should take place five years later.

Prague must prove the acquisition of the Slavic epic, the court decided
