Tesla’s small dominance in Iceland expands with Supercharger V3 ramp
Tesla plans to build more Supercharger V3 stations in Iceland and further strengthen the subtle dominance of the electric car manufacturer on the island. According to the Icelandic news agency, Tesla will open a new supercharging station in Staðarskáli in Hrútafjörður this week.
The Tesla chargers that open this week will have 250kW booths, which indicates that the units will be V3 superchargers. This is the first time that V3 superchargers have been installed in Iceland. The owner of Model S also pointed out that Iceland was a nation of only 350,000 people. which emphasizes the scope of the electric car sector in the country.
