The new sampling point in the middle of Wenceslas Square should work mainly for tourists. According to the management of Prague, the location right in the center is ideal for foreigners. But anyone can come.
According to Deputy Petr Hlubuček from the United Forces for Prague, hotels in the capital also received instructions on where to send them if necessary.
“It’s for a person who wakes up in the morning at the hotel, is not well, comes to the reception, and the receptionist sends him to this test site. The man will come there, pay 1,750 crowns for the test, “he told Radiožurnál.
The price is about the same as in hospitals. People should know the result of the PCR test within 12 hours. But they can pay extra, express testing with results within three hours costs over seven thousand crowns.
Prague also requires the opening of other collection points. Now take eleven samples for testing in Prague, but according to Deputy Hlubuček, this is not enough.
Thomayer Hospital in Krč, for example, is going to increase its capacity. It also wants to open a special collection point for pediatric patients. The interest there is such that the next free date to be tested is next Wednesday. Other hospitals in Prague are a little better at their reservation systems.
