Bubeneč: The most expensive house in the Czech Republic is for sale for half a billion
The villa is sold by Julia Romaněnková, the wife of the former representative of the Russian petrochemical giant Lukoil. The land on which the villa stands was bought by Romaněnková ten years ago. At that time, however, stood the house of the painter Karel Svolinský, built at the turn of the 60s and 70s. Romaněnková only had permission to rebuild half of the building, but she leveled the whole house and a “half-billion” villa was built in its place shortly afterwards.which, as the most expensive house, leads, among other things, the Forbes magazine rankings.
Five floors full of luxury
So a new villa was built here, with a brick facade that combines elements of cubism and modern technology. Its astronomical beginning is mainly due to the unique interior, which literally shouts to the world that the owner is not in just any house. On three floors and two floors below garden level so there are floors inlaid with semi-precious stones, such as amethyst or pink onyx, top marble or first-class French crystal.
Even the furniture and the overall furnishings were made especially for this house, no less than the British interior designer Clive Christian. This extraordinary British designer is also responsible for the creation of the most expensive perfume in the world, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records. The perfume saw the light of day in 2005. Only 10 bottles of 500 milliliters were handmade from crystal, decorated with 18-carat gold and 5-carat diamond. One bottle then cost about four million crowns. They all sold out.
Spacious 8 + 3
The entire first floor occupies only the living room with a beautiful view of the quiet garden and the dining room with kitchen, which is equipped with top appliances that every culinary enthusiast dreams of. There are a total of five bedrooms, three large walk-in closets and four luxury bathrooms on the other two floors. In the attic there is a study with a large terrace and its own kitchenette. But the new owner will also have space for self-realization. The two floors below ground level are empty, so there are several possible uses – from another separate apartment to a luxurious wellness. Or will the new owner approach a completely different solution?
Safety above everything
Such a luxurious residence must also be properly guarded. The most advanced security system is in charge of the artificial brain of the Smart house villa, which controls the entire building. Forget the house keys, you only get a fingerprint. Each room has a 360-degree camera and the control panels of the individual systems decorate the crystals in a different way than from Swarovski.
Reason for sale? The owner is in foreclosure
The reason why such a luxury villa is for sale right now is quite simple and not very romantic. According to the findings of MF DNES, Julie Romaněnková’s only Czech company called Izba has been in execution since last month. According to the real estate cadastre, the room owns only a forest plot in Jevany near Prague. And it is Romaněnková’s share in this company that has been affected by executions since the end of June. According to the deed in the Commercial Register, the amount owed is almost three million crowns. However, there is no ownership restriction on the “half-billion” villa in Bubeneč and execution is not affected by it., as well as an apartment in the center of Prague in Veleslavínova Street, which Romaněnková also belongs to.
