The so-called traffic light was introduced this week by the Ministry of Health. “A ministerial traffic light for this purpose (inform about measures, editor’s note) does not go. According to Hřib, the data used by the Ministry of Health does not inspire confidence. He wonders how 1,775 infections could have decreased in the whole country after Sunday’s audit of coronavirus statistics.
The Ministry of Health justified the fact that the Ostrava hygienists in particular were overwhelmed and did not manage to update the numbers of those recovered.
According to the mayor of Prague, however, the system should be much more sophisticated and automated. It is said that it is not clear according to which criteria the individual regions will be classified as traffic lights – these are often subjective parameters, and the capital will therefore comment on the methodology, says Hřib.
The mayor states that Prague has warehouses filled with protective equipment, which can be distributed to organizations established by the municipality, such as the city police, the rescue service and some medical facilities and homes for the elderly. Specifically, there are 800,000 disposable mouthpieces and 300,000 FFP 2 respirators and other equipment.
“I am a little worried that the State Material Reserves Administration has not yet purchased the stock. And instead she bought milk powder from Agrofert. We need to know what will happen after the first month we were supposed to prepare for, ”Mushroom.
The mayor of Prague, Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates), convened the capital’s security council on Thursday morning, which should address comments on the government’s “traffic light”, an inventory of medical supplies and an assessment of the current situation regarding the new coronavirus epidemic. Hřib added that at the instigation of the Ministry of Health, Prague made an inventory of protective equipment and the metropolis has a stock for one month.
