Prague has a line for seniors. Shopping is brought by volunteers or couriers
A crisis line for lonely seniors who need to buy or procure medicines has started operating in Prague. Volunteers will take care of them so that they do not have to go to places with a large number of people and to reduce the risk of their possible infection. They are mediated by the coordination center of the Life 90 organization.
At the same time, the capital deals with Rohlík.cz and Košík.cz stores, which distribute purchases by customers and homes. According to Councilor Petr Hlubuček, there should be an offer of pre-prepared purchases worth, for example, 200, 300 and 400 crowns. Seniors would choose an adequate supply of basic food and hygiene products, and they could help volunteers with heavy-duty delivery.
Thank you private for your cooperation. For seniors who are to stay preventively at home, we are preparing in cooperation with @kosikcz, @rohlikcz, @INVIACZ and other basic food and hygiene packages that we will deliver directly to their homes if they are interested.

This service is to be launched on Friday morning, orders will be available on the telephone number 800 160 166. Invia, which is connected with Rohlík.cz and normally focuses on the sale of tours, is to assist in processing orders. Its operators have little workload due to coronavirus.
The companies Rohlík.cz and Košík.cz ask customers to inform together with the order whether they are in the domestic quarantine. Both stores only accept non-cash payments so that their couriers can avoid direct contact with customers.
“All employees are now undergoing regular temperature measurements, we have increased the number of disinfection dispensers throughout the operation and we have equipped all couriers with hand-held disinfection gels, which are always suitable before and after,” says Košík.cz on its website.
