ZAGREB, February 23, 2020 – 25-year-old Vinko Ćemeraš was crowned the winner of the third season of the music TV show The Voice – Croatia last night in Zagreb.
The title was taken by Ćemeraš after he won 41.94 percent of the audience’s votes in last night’s grand finale of the third season of the series. The Voice – Croatia.
Second is Filip Rudan with 23.72 percent of votes, third is Albina Grcic with 19.51 percent of votes, while Bernarda Bobovečki took fourth place with 14.83 percent of votes.
Vinko, who plays the guitar, writes lyrics, composes and arranges songs, started singing when he was 15 years old because his friend lacked a vocalist in the band. Mentor Davor Gobac was the first to turn around at Ćemeraš’s blind audition when he performed Kings Leon’s hit ‘Pyro’.
In the grand final, he again performed the song Kings of Leon, as well as Dino Dvornik’s hit ‘Wormwood and honey’ and a duet with his mentor Gobec.
Ćemeraš is currently studying computer science in Mostar. His parents now live in Germany, and his brothers in Ireland and Dubrovnik. Vinko he hopes to find his happiness in Zagreb, and by participating in The Voice he hoped to show his potential.
