The preparation of the Arel Ice Sports project at Chodov u Zkladn koly Ke Kateinkm began in 2014. The situation began in Nora this year, only at the end of June did the work stop again.

The reason for the further delay of the Arel Ice Sports project in Chodov was the unclear participation of the master in the project. According to the original assumptions, he was to acquire a 50% share in the shares of AR Delta, which owns the project. The other half would be held by a private investor, the company ALS Investors, which was fully active.

Due to some missing documents, which were required only by the governing coalition at the magistrate as a condition of cooperation, the capital city’s participation in the project eventually fell.

Due to the stalemate, which first resulted in the cessation of construction work, and the threat of drastic overpricing of the project, the magistrate, private investor and Prague 11 City Hall began to work together intensively in the summer months on their land in the stadium. Only now does it seem that the parties are coming to a final agreement.

One should end in August, and it looks like the variant that the city of the capital, which currently includes a number of joint-stock companies, would join the project together with a private investor in Prague 11, the city council for sports, culture and leisure Jan Strek ( TOP 09 / STAN).

His words are also confirmed by the mayor of Prague 11, Ji Dohnal (Pirti), according to whom the specific conditions for the city’s entry into the company’s shares are now being finalized.

In the last five years, we have basically everything about the project. That’s why the master and I finally agreed that he would move it to us, said Dohnal.

For the shares in the company, which the winter stadium will build and will operate, but Prague 11, like a private investor, has to invest 35 million crowns. Such a city council is now not available. Therefore, the magistrate promised financial assistance to the town hall, even though the capital itself did not want to join the project.

The question is whether the metropolis will provide the town hall with finances in the form of a subsidy, or just partly as a subsidy and partly as a loan, Jan Chabr (United Nations Association for Prague / TOP 09) explains how the two options are currently on the table.

A total of 70 million crowns from the town hall and the investor, but it will not be enough for the construction. Under the banner of AR Delta shares, both future partners were left with a pension.

We are paying a joint venture at the bank of around 150 million crowns, which is negotiated by the mayor of Prague 11. The result should therefore be paid up to 220 million crowns. The town hall also assumes that the operation of the winter stadium will be profitable and will be repaid from the pensions.

If the parties eventually agree on all the terms of the agreement, according to Dohnal, the construction could start within one and two months. Finann’s help to the town hall must approve not only the council of the capital, but also its council, which will meet for the first time after the holidays and in the second half of the year. .

Prague 11, with a population of 80,000, is filled with a relatively large area after the opening. The slides will be located directly in the warehouse complex, so they should be used there in the morning as part of the gym. The same can apply to the next eight primary rounds and the grammar school, which shared the land of Prague 11. According to the stadium, it can also be used for afternoon leisure activities, especially for children, sports clubs or you for public skating.

The base of the complex will consist of two ice surfaces. One will be designed for skating and hockey, the other will have three curling kites. There is also a place to relax with restaurants, space for fitness, rehabilitation and physiotherapy or sports equipment rental. The new arel will be barbarians.
