“The conclusion of the negotiations is that the municipality would sell us the land, and we would build a new hospital on that land, where Bulovka would de facto move (Na Bulovce Hospital – editor’s note). There would also be an administrative center and 1,300 flats, ”Babiš said after the meeting.
For this, Prague wants the state to pay the inner city circuit for 60 billion crowns and sell the city to the Karlín Barracks.

“It is in the interest of the whole country that Prague has adequate transport services. If the state pays Brno, it seems logical to me that the state should pay the city ring in Prague as well, ”said Mayor Hřib after the meeting.

According to Babiš, everything is still a matter of negotiation. “According to estimates, the prices of them are a bit different and there is a price disadvantage for the state, and of course 60 billion per circuit, which is the amount we have to discuss,” Babiš added, adding that he will prepare a proposal for property transfers within 14 days.
Hřib further stated that they had not yet obtained an exact list of properties from Babiš that the transfer of officials should cover. Kateřina Arajmu, director of the Office for Representation of the State in Property Matters (ÚZSVM), stated that she has a total of 115 buildings, 90 of which are to be emptied and employees from other offices are to be moved to the rest.

According to Arajm, the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) and partly also the Ministry of the Environment or Culture should move to Letňany. The office has previously presented a proposal for a government quarter for 10,000 employees.
“MMR is at seven addresses today, so it would be placed in one building,” she told Arajma.
The state would either sell the vacated buildings in the center or turn them into flats or galleries and museums.
According to Deputy Petr Hlaváček, the financing of the city’s inner ring road is crucial, because the construction of such a district will burden Prague mainly with traffic.
“I did a quick analysis and it shows that the area is very valuable and could really contain all three parts. It may make sense to enrich Prague, but at the same time it will burden it in terms of traffic, which is why we are talking about participating in the city ring road, ”added Hlaváček, adding that the city would prepare an architectural competition for the whole matter.

Babiš needs coordination with Prague because the land on which he wants to build the government district belongs to the city. The mushroom prefers to build a hospital, which should gradually replace the operation of Bulovka. It no longer corresponds to the current parks in terms of capacity or technology.
