Do you want to get the beauties of Prague? Then be sure to go see Prague’s Újezd. Not only is it a pretty nice place in itself, but photographer Richard Horák is exhibiting his Prague pictures there at the Nikon Gallery. And he can capture the Czech capital in the most beautiful moments.
“I love my hometown of Prague, which is why I like to photograph it so much. I’m not explicitly a morning bird, but if you want to take a picture of Prague in all its beauty, you must also pay tribute by coming to it at dawn, when it is young in the morning. “gorgeous and willing to show you at least for a brief moment,” he explains his charm.
“There is peace everywhere, only sometimes a few drunks return from somewhere, they tap on their foreheads when they see you with a tripod, they sing and stagger on… I take photos of Prague in the morning and evening, from below and from above. she is not so well-behaved yet… “Richard Horák confesses his love for Prague.
His exhibition Mysterious Prague in Nikon Photo Gallery will last until the beginning of March. It is a cross-section of the author’s work and represents a set of approximately 60 photographs. This is Horák’s second major exhibition, the first of which appeared in the Senate of the Czech Republic in 2014.
Richard Horák studied civil engineering, learning to photograph only as an amateur from his father and fellow photographers. His great role model was the photographer of Prague Jiří Všetečka.
The author has been participating in the Prague Photographic Competition since 2012, where he annually participates in awards for his photographs. At that time he started photographing for the Archbishopric of Prague and since 2015 he has been photographing monuments for the Prague Information Service. In October 2017, he managed to win with mystery Mysterious Prague in the world competition Trierenberg Super Circuit in Linz, Austria, where he won a gold medal in the Sunrise and Sunset category.
Richard Horák is a member of the Association of Professional Photographers of the Czech Republic and since 1985 he has only photographed Nikon cameras.
