The theme of this year is 100 years of Czechoslovakia, a state that has not existed for a quarter of a century. “The partners are asking what the events and celebrations will be like, what is going to happen. It will be a topic that will resonate very globally, “said Palatková, who expects increased interest from tourists from Slovakia this year.
This year, all regions of the Czech Republic are represented at the Go and Regiontour tourism fairs, which used to be the case, as was the trip to the Nitra region, as well as all Slovak ones. 26 countries, including exotic Cuba and the Dominican Republic, will present themselves in various ways in Brno. On Thursday, the fair is still intended for the professional public, but from Friday to Saturday, ordinary visitors can also come.
