Prince Edward arrived in Prague for the first time, honoring Czech students
Awarded for long-term development in the field of sports, talent, volunteering and for the adventurous expedition, the British Royal Family supports young people under 24 years of age. About 2,500 Czech dukes from Edinburgh (DofE) have so far taken part in the Czech Republic.
I hope that this award will become a ticket to your future career and that many other people will be able to influence you on your journey, said Prince Edward, a graduate of the program. He would like to see more young people involved in the R project and help them better equip them for life.
According to the PR manager of the program, Martin Batek, the children on the project especially appreciate that they will learn to persevere and help other people. Some are motivated by the effort to travel abroad. In countries where the price of traditions is not in the Czech Republic, it means an advantage for applicants to study at a university or in a good job.
The gold international award of the Duke of Edinburgh was taken, for example, by Karol Vesel from the grammar school in Rumburk. When I signed up for DofE a few years ago, my main motivation was to get to know a foreign country thanks to expeditions. At the time, I had no idea what DofE naum was all about and how many new things I knew. Each member of the program moved a bit longer in mm personal growth, said the graduate of the program.
They helped children from broken families
Another of the award-winning students, for example, helped disabled people and children from broken families, improved their various sports or a number of musical instruments, and your expeditions to various European and world hills have been supported by you.

In recent days, the Czech Republic has hosted about several program graduates from around the world at an event called the International Gold Event (IGE). The decade-long darkness had to prepare its own project in exchange for startups and help for the disadvantaged, and to defend it before an international jury, so Prince Edward sat.
Prince Edward has been on nvtv in Czech since Sunday. On Thursday, he met at the residence of the British ambassadors, where he met with representatives of the Czech government and his compatriots.
It was an exception for the prince to see several nobles of the British, who have been in the Czech Republic for many years, said Ambassador Jan Thompsonov. Among the guests were Steve Gove, founder of the Prague Fringe Fest, or film producer Matthew Stillman, who is behind the film The Chronicles of Narnia.
He designed a round in Nebuice. These rounds were chosen because it is one of the largest centers that fully fills the program, with about seven hundred students involved in the project, Batko said.
The program for the prince has been launched since Sunday by the International Duke of Edinburgh R Award in cooperation with the British Embassy. He flew to Bratislava on Thursday at 11 a.m., where he supported Slovak students.
