Survey: Prague is in the middle of the attractiveness of the world’s metropolises
Prague – The Czech capital is in 30th place among the 60 world capitals in terms of attractiveness for housing, business and tourism. This is according to a survey by Ipsos, whose results. According to the survey, the most attractive cities are New York, Abu Dhabi and London, while Tehran and Nairobi were the worst. Prague performed best in terms of tourist attractiveness.

New York and Abu Dhabi owe their location primarily to job opportunities. New York defended its championship in 2013, when Ipsos conducted this survey for the last time. London dropped from second to third, Abu Dhabi was fourth four years ago.

“London has been a little offended, but it is still at the forefront. Concerns that the city will lose its attractiveness due to Brexit have not yet proved to be very justified, “said Lenka Sazmová from Ipsos Public Affairs.
According to a survey, Zurich is the best place to live, Paris in terms of tourist attractions and New York in terms of job opportunities. Prague ranks 27th, 15th and 39th in these categories.

Ipsos did not ask in the Czech Republic
In a survey at the turn of April and May, Ipsos addressed 18,557 respondents aged 16 to 64 in 26 countries around the world, but did not ask in the Czech Republic. Respondents in each category were to identify the three most attractive cities out of 60 offered. According to the percentage, Ipsos allocated a body to each city.
For example, Prague ranked three percent of respondents in the top three in terms of housing, six percent in terms of tourist attractiveness and two percent in terms of job opportunities. Prague thus gained 11 points. The victorious New York had almost five times more. Compared to the last survey, however, he lost 18 points.
