Dolínek Square will be the leader of the Prague CSSD candidate
In response to the result, Ludvík said that he would no longer defend the position of chairman of the Prague CSSD. He added that it basically ends in politics.
Dolínek received 375 votes, ie 50.58 percent. Ludvík received 361 votes. In other places, the nominated members did not make any changes in the election. In its second place is the square of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Lukáš Kaucký and in the third square of the Minister of Health Lenka Teska Arnoštová. The share was 40.48 percent.
Dolínek said that this year is a turning point not only for the country, but also for him personally. “Party members elected me vice-president and now the leader of the candidate in Prague in March. I appreciate that very much and I want to say that I will do everything to win the Social Democrats in these key elections,” he said in a press release.
Petr Dolínek (35) has been the Deputy Mayor of Prague since 2014, he has been sitting in the Prague City Council since 2010, and he was also a councilor. He studied at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague, but did not complete her studies. For example, he worked in the marketing of Thomson Multimedia Czech Republic, he was the editor-in-chief of Pražské listy. He joined the CSSD in 1999 and was chairman of the Young Social Democrats. In March this year, she became vice-chairman of the CSSD.
Many other parties have already announced their election leaders in the capital. The Prague leader of the YES movement is the Minister of Defense Martin Stropnický, the KSČM candidate will be led in the metropolis by MP Marta Semelová. Karel Schwarzenberg, the party’s honorary chairman, will be at the top of the TOP 09 document in Prague. The Civic Democrats led the candidate MP Jana Černochová and the coalition of KDU-ČSL and Starostů and the independent Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Petr Gazdík (STAN).
Four years ago, the trade union leader, non-partisan Jaroslav Zavadil, was in the first place in the CSSD’s list of candidates in Prague. The Social Democrats then received about 14 percent of the vote in the capital. They finished in third place in the TOP 09 with 23 percent and YES with 16.5 percent of the vote. The ODS won 12 percent and the KSČM 8.5 percent of the vote in the metropolis four years ago. The Prague CSSD candidate is represented in the current House by four representatives.
