Anonymous reported a bomb at Ruzyně airport, planes are not allowed to fly to Schengen
In the evening, an anonymous phone call announced that the bomb had been planted at Terminal 2 of Václav Havel Airport in Prague. The police evacuated the area, the building is being inspected by pyrotechnics and handlers. Aircraft spokeswoman Kateřina Rendlová is temporarily not allowed to leave the terminal, which is intended for flights to the Schengen area. The situation is being resolved by the airport’s crisis staff.
Police officers proceed according to pre-prepared scenarios of similar situations. “A thorough inspection of all areas will be carried out with the participation of dog handlers and explosives search specialists. If the inspection is negative, it will be gradually restored at the airport. No aircraft will now depart from Terminal 2.” .

Around 20:00, the crisis staff met at the airport to assess the current situation and the measures taken, such as how the police intervention will affect the arrival of aircraft, said airport spokesman Michal Řehořek. Due to the situation, delays in flights from Terminal 2 can be expected. Terminal 1, intended for connections from non-Schengen states, is open according to him.
In the near future, for example, planes to Paris, Düsseldorf, Munich, Warsaw and other European cities were to depart from the second terminal of Ruzyně Airport.
