According to companies, the decision to locate a global innovative IT center in Prague was based on a sufficient number of qualified workers offered by the Czech capital. “We decided to open an innovative center in Prague, because Prague offers quality and educated specialists with a high level of knowledge and professional skills. We are looking for employees who have deep knowledge in the field of IT, or knowledge of biology, chemistry and medicine, “said Clark Golestani, Global Director of IT at MSD.

The innovative center is located in 6,200 square meters of leased offices, ie about 90 percent of the area of ​​Skanska’s six-storey Riverview building in Smíchov, Prague. Originally, MSD chose the smaller Hadovka Office Park in Prague 6, but last year it changed its decision.

The center focuses mainly on mathematical modeling, security information, mobile technology and data analysis. Leading pharmaceutical companies have a large amount of research and development data available, from manufacturing or other activities. Many of them are not yet fully utilized, the Prague IT center wants to change that.

At the same time, the Global Innovation Center project is intended to directly help the rapid development of the former factory district in Smíchov. However, it will also be progressive in its internal structure. For example, it will bring a number of original communication solutions within companies, where employees will be able to capture and share information within buildings, for example, using visualization aids and interactive panels.
