Prague is one of the unnecessarily overrated destinations. Because of pickpockets and auditors | Travel
For example, Birmingham, Yuma or Arizona cannot appear among the overrated cities. No one knows these cities very well and therefore does not overestimate them. This ranking can challenge anyone because one person might think of Berlin as below average with lots of overpriced restaurants and overcrowded tourists. The other will tell you that he adores Berlin. Check out the six most overrated places in the world, according to MainStreet.
Dubai
Today it has the busiest international airport. But you may be advised not to leave the airport. The most prominent emotions will most likely be occasional sandstorms. Travel agents say it is the center of shopping in the Middle East and a paradise for foreigners and those who come here for work. And where else can you go skiing in a shopping center when the temperature outside is around 30 degrees Celsius? But isn’t it better to go to real mountains for natural snow instead of Dubai?

Prague
Everyone goes to Prague for the amazing medieval architecture, maybe because of the writer Kafka (Franz Kafka Museum). The problem is that a really large number of people want to see the city. It is difficult for the average visitor to enjoy the special atmosphere of the city when they have to push through crowds of tourists and wait in endless queues at the entrances.
Prague also faces great difficulties with pickpockets who target tourists. Many tourists will also be able to tell you about unpleasant experiences with relentless revisions in public transport.
Aspen
Everything in Aspen is overpriced from hotels and restaurants to parks to souvenirs. Tourists are on every corner. It’s kind of like Manhattan’s version of Soho, only in the Rockies (once glamorous now snobbish). For a trip to the Rocky Mountains, it is better to choose one of the surrounding towns, such as Carbondale, Glenwood Springs or Redstone. You’ll have access to the same slopes and your vacation will cost you a fraction of the price of an Aspen vacation.
Cancun
In short – very touristy and very crowded. Cancun was built purely to attract tourists. Before 1970, when construction began, the population could be counted on the fingers of one hand. Compared to touristy Cancun, Tulum is definitely a more interesting choice. These are the wonderful remains of a Mayan settlement on the southern edge of Cancun. Or you can head straight to the Mediterranean to the sprawling Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza on the Yucatan Peninsula.

Bali
You sit on the plane for over 15 hours. You pay ten thousand. You are in Bali. But what is there to do in Bali? The answer is: “Not much.” You can visit traditional weaving workshops where batik fabrics are made. You will buy a sarong. You will listen to gamelang (percussion orchestra of traditional Indonesian music). You will see a Hindu ceremony (an ancient version of Hinduism is practiced in Bali). You feel sorry for the local stray dogs that are everywhere. You will avoid thousands of Australian tourists, for whom Bali is something like Croatia is for the Czechs. And then what? Mick Jagger married Jerri Hall in Bali. You know how it turned out.
Key West, the southernmost point of the USA.
Key West
“Poor Hemingway would be turning in his grave if he saw the tourism in Key West today,” said noted travel blogger LJ Bell. Tourism is increasing uncomfortably, mainly in the number of giant cruise ships that ply the local coast and thus spoil the sea panorama. It is the best way to accommodate such a large number of tourists.
