“In a small area between the D1 motorway and Formanská Street, multi-storey office buildings are to be built for more than 7,000 employees and also for more than 2,000 new residents (the Újezd ​​district currently has less than 3,000 inhabitants). , “The mayor of Křeslice pointed out. According to him, in addition, about 3,600 parking spaces have been created in a more than quiet location.

“The surroundings of our homes are to change radically into a commercial area, with heavy traffic, noise and smog. The basic condition is the construction of the Vestecká junction and the Exit 4 junction, connecting the area with the D1 motorway, ”explains the mayor.

An action has already been filed against the zoning plan of the capital, directed from Křeslice to the Supreme Administrative Court. There is also a petition organized by the Southeast Alliance, which is gaining increasing support.

However, the capital’s management denies responsibility. The construction is made possible by a zoning plan, approved in 2000, which, according to First Deputy Mayor Tomáš Hudeček, cannot be challenged retrospectively.

Illegal zoning plan from 2000

However, this is contradicted by the Prague law firm Vítězslav Dohnal, which represents Křeslické in the submission. According to lawyer Michal Bernard, the 2000 zoning plan for the Vestecká spojka, Exit 4 junction and the related commercial construction is illegal for a number of reasons.

“First of all, there was no environmental impact assessment at all, and already today the binding limits of noise and air pollution are significantly exceeded,” said Bernard officially. According to him, Prague did not react to the objections of the Křeslice district during the acquisition of the zoning plan at the time. The City Council positively provides for the construction of an administrative and residential complex between Újezd ​​and Kateřinky, connected by “Exit 4” on the D1 motorway, at the initiative of the management of the Újezd ​​district.

Citizens, you can’t do anything about it

At a recent meeting with citizens, her deputy mayor Filip Ranoš stated that the concept of developing Újezd, as a quiet area of ​​family houses, had been abandoned. Although this was promised in the past and even a study was paid for in its spirit.

Mayor: Nothing is lost yet

The mayor of Křeslice, Antonín Zápotocký, is convinced that nothing is far from lost. He relies on filing with the Supreme Administrative Court. At the beginning of this year, he decided on similar issues in matters of citizens, when he stopped the construction of skyscrapers in Pankrác.

“The court confirmed that it is unacceptable to place buildings in the locality where the environment is deteriorating, which should be even more harmful.
