People working in Prague earn up to 10,000 crowns a month more than people in some other regions. Employees in the Karlovy Vary region receive the least money. This follows from the internet survey Platy.cz, which has involved 85,000 people in the last year.
In the Internet population that participated in the survey, which is the average gross monthly salary with remuneration in the Czech Republic of 25,303 crowns per month.

The people with the lowest education earn the least in each region. They are the worst in the Karlovy Vary region (CZK 14,373). If they moved to Prague for work, their average monthly salary with bonuses would increase to 19,554 crowns.
People with a university degree earn an average of CZK 38,849 a month in Prague. University students in the Olomouc Region will get the least money, where their average salary is 29,125 crowns.
Regional differences are also evident in the work areas. The difference between the salaries of people in the automotive industry in Prague and individual regions is on average eight percent. “The automotive industry is a good example of how the demand for employees can put pressure on their salaries. Although the metropolis is one of the best paying regions, people in the automotive industry earn more than in Prague in three regions, “said Lubomír Valenta from Profesia cz, which operates Platy.cz.
Relatively low pay gaps are also in the categories of security and protection or in health and social care. On the contrary, there is a difference in salaries in individual regions in the categories of trade, economy, finance, accounting and tourism, gastronomy, hospitality, where it reaches thirty or more than twenty percent.
