The National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria organized a working meeting between the leaders of the municipalities of Bulgaria and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, eligible for support under the Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the two countries. On the Bulgarian side these are the municipalities of Blagoevgrad and Kyustendil districts, and on the northern side of Macedonia – from the Northeastern, Eastern and Southeastern planning regions. The meeting will be hosted by the Municipality of Sandanski. The forum will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria Grozdan Karadjov and the Minister of Local Self-Government of Northern Macedonia Goran Milevski.
